5 Celebrities Who Have Admitted Having Eyelid Surgery

How things have changed. Just a decade ago, there was still a stigma attached to cosmetic surgery. Thankfully, today the stigma has fallen away and everyone can proudly take charge of their appearance and look their best.
Part of the reason that cosmetic surgery is happily accepted and mainstream today is because of celebrities. For years, tabloid newspapers printed speculations and rumors about celebrities getting a facelift or Botox. Today, rumors are unnecessary because many celebrities cheerfully admit to getting touched up!
One of the most popular cosmetic procedures that celebrities go for is blepharoplasty, or eyelid surgery. The eyelids are one of the first areas of the face to show signs of aging, as the skin there tends to be thinner and more delicate. On-camera, this area is highlighted, so it is unsurprising that it is the go-to procedure for many of Hollywood’s biggest stars. Here are some of the celebrities who have gotten eyelid surgery and are thrilled with the results!
George Clooney
One of the handsomest and most successful actors of his age, George Clooney loves yanking the media’s chain about getting cosmetic surgery. Although some of his claims are obviously jokes (testicular ironing is NOT a thing), he has publicly said that he’s gotten eyelid surgery done. “I had my eyes done. Can you tell? I think it’s important to look awake.” As Clooney is a jokester, you can never be sure when he is serious or not. But looking at those eyes, we think we can believe that statement!
Jane Seymour

She wrote, “It’s not nice to fool Mother Nature! But in 1976 I had my eyelids done. I scolded myself forever, but now I’m glad I did it.”
