Allison Yee, MD

Board-Certified, Fellowship Trained Oculofacial Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Yee brings over 15 years of oculofacial plastic surgery experience to Azul Plastic Surgery. Over her professional medical career, Dr. Yee has performed over 15,000 upper eyelid, 2,000 lower eyelid surgeries and over 2,000 brow lift surgeries. She specializes in both the surgical and non-surgical face and neck rejuvenation. She has extensive experience with some of the newest less-invasive procedures for face and neck rejuvenation and has a passion for facial fat grafting. She has also performed over 10,000 neurotoxin and 5,000 facial injectable procedures. She is recognized as one of the top aesthetic physicians in the Fort Myers and Southwest Florida market. In 2021, she won the Best Eyelid Surgeon in Southwest Florida. She is also a leader in both surgical and non-surgical cosmetic treatments for the Asian patient community.

Dr. Allison Yee comes from a long line of both surgeons and artists. As a fourth-generation ophthalmic surgeon, she studied the sciences and trained in the meticulous art of intraocular and periocular/facial surgery. Additionally, like her mother, she studied the fine arts and art history during her college career. After completion of residency, Dr. Yee completed a two-year fellowship in oculofacial plastic surgery where she worked in a high-volume trauma setting and spent years honing her skills in intricate periocular/facial reconstruction and the latest techniques for surgical facial rejuvenation. This fusion of both surgery and the arts led to a perfect blend of function and beauty.

Dr. Yee graduated from Indiana University with an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts and Art History in 2001 with Summa Cum Laude honors. She graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2006. After completion of residency, Dr. Yee completed a two-year fellowship in oculofacial plastic surgery where she worked in a high-volume trauma setting and spent years honing her skills in intricate periocular and facial reconstruction. Over the past 8 years, she has practiced as an oculofacial plastic surgeon at Eye Centers of Florida. In 2018, Dr. Yee was the recipient of the Patient’s Choice Reward recognizing the difference as a physician she has made in the lives of her patients. She is a board certified with the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Yee is a member of American Medical Association, American Academy of Ophthalmology, Association of Women Surgeons, Women in Ophthalmology, Florida Medical Association and Lee County Medical Society. In 2021, she won the Best Eyelid Surgeon in Southwest Florida award. An avid gardener and orchid enthusiast, Dr. Allison Yee is married and loves spending time with her 2 children (13 and 15) and husband. She and her family have lived in the Fort Myers area for the last 10 years. She and her family have 2 dogs, Mills and Gia, that were both rescues.
