Microchanneling with ProCell Brings Out the Best in Your Skin

We talk a lot about looking younger even as we grow older. When possible, we prefer to address the process of cosmetic aging without surgery. We can’t just wish our way to great skin, though, we must find the best ways to support the healthiest regeneration of skin cells. At Azul Cosmetic Surgery, one way we do this is with ProCell microchanneling treatment.
What is ProCell Microchanneling?
You’ve probably heard of microneedling, the minimally-invasive treatment that is popular among many celebs these days. Microchanneling is a similar technique, performed in our office using the award-winning ProCell device. This evolved version of microneedling stimulates fibroblasts to produce more collagen beginning very shortly after treatment. As a result of increased collagen, the epidermis can quickly transform from ruddy to glowing, rough to smooth.
ProCell microchanneling differs slightly from standard microneedling in technique. During a microneedling treatment, a small, needle-clad applicator is passed over the skin. The applicator tip vibrates, sending the microneedles as far as 4 mm into superficial tissue. Some microneedling techniques are administered using a needle-clad drum that is rolled over the skin. ProCell microchanneling utilizes a stamping technique. This method ensures that all superficial punctures are made in an entirely vertical fashion.
The creation of thousands of tiny, shallow wounds provokes a healing response that begins immediately. In addition to creating these wounds, the ProCell microchanneling treatment also supports the maximum regenerative power by introducing potent serums with ingredients that encourage new cells to behave more youthfully.
Is ProCell Microchanneling Right for You?
One of the appealing aspects of microneedling and microchanneling techniques is that they support the skin right at its foundation. Micochanneling can correct some degree of dermatologic aging and can also aid in the management of certain conditions, such as rosacea. Furthermore, ongoing treatments help to maintain the optimal regeneration of skin cells.
ProCell treatment may be right for you if you are interested in smoothing lines and wrinkles, restoring firmness and elasticity to your skin, reducing acne scars or hyperpigmentation or sun damage, or enjoying softer, plumper skin. Treatment is commonly performed on the forehead, cheeks, chin and around the eyes and mouth as well as the neck and chest.
We proudly serve areas in and around Fort Myers, Bonita Springs, and Naples. To schedule a consultation in an office near you, call (239) 415-7576.
