HydraFacial MD®
A great facial can be more like a wonderful, relaxing massage. It’s a chance just to lay back and be pampered. Unfortunately, some facials don’t give your skin the boost you may think they do. A superficial cleansing and some hydration may leave you radiant for a few hours after the facial, but what about after a week? Is there a facial out there that can really make a long-term difference in the health of your skin? HydraFacial MD is a facial using cutting-edge aesthetic techniques that will leave your skin radiant and healthy in ways that a regular old facial couldn’t dream. It’s made up of four easy steps. First is cleansing and exfoliation. Here, we use a special spiral tool to buff away dead skin cells and open your pores. Next, we give you a mild acid peel to reveal the deeper layers of the skin. Then it’s extraction time. We use a special vacuum tool to remove the blackheads and other impurities that were trapped in your pores. Finally, we apply a special serum to your skin made from hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, and other soothing products. Thanks to the previous steps, this serum will be able to penetrate deeper into your skin, so you will be seeing the results for days after the facial is over. All this, and it only takes around 30 minutes! Now THAT’S a facial!
Chemical Peels
A chemical peel is where we apply a chemical solution, usually an acid, to your skin, intentionally damaging its top layer. As the damaged skin exfoliates, the healthier, smoother skin under it will be revealed. Peels are a simple and easy way to minimize wrinkles, eliminate hyperpigmentation, and help refresh aging skin.
Since everyone’s skin is different, your chemical peel will be specifically for you and your skin. If you have sensitive skin, a very light Micropeel might be in order. If you want something a little stronger, we could give you a Jessner or Glycolic Peel which improves the texture and tone of your skin. If you wanted to go all in, we could give you a TCA peel that can help address hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and wrinkles.
Microdermabrasion
For the ultimate in exfoliation, you want to give microdermabrasion a try. It’s a non-surgical procedure where we resurface your skin, buffing away dead skin and damaged cells to reveal the softer and tighter skin beneath. It is especially effective at treating acne scars and sun damage. It is a little bit like “sanding” your skin. There is very little downtime associated with microdermabrasion and, after just 24 hours, any pinkness should subside to reveal healthier, more radiant skin. We generally recommend you get a series of these for the most benefit.
