Azul Liquid Facelift
Fort Myers, FL
What is a liquid facelift?
As we age, our faces begin to lose collagen, elastin, and fat tissue. This loss of facial volume and elasticity leads to sagging facial features. In addition to the formation of wrinkles, creases, and folds on the face. Leading many people to explore fillers in an effort to restore that youthful look. The availability of BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport®, and advanced dermal fillers at our Naples, Bonita Springs, and Fort Myers area locations has led to the development of techniques. Using several of these products together to achieve a harmonious rejuvenation. This revolutionary and non-surgical approach to treating sagging facial features is called a liquid facelift.

How A liquid facelift procedure is performed
Dr. Flaharty has performed thousands of liquid facelifts over the years. He has refined a technique to focus on lifting and contouring the face, with an ancillary benefit of wrinkle reduction (rather than the other way around). With so many benefits from the procedure, you can be another one of his happy patients.
The liquid facelift can accomplish:
- Gentle lift of individual (or overall) facial features
- Reduced wrinkles, creases, and folds
- Restoration of natural, curved facial contours
- A more rested and energetic look
- A friendlier smile
For more targeted results, such as reducing wrinkles around the jawline or eliminating acne scars, you may want to consider RF Microneedling, a skin tightening treatment designed to stimulate your body’s production of collagen.

Your Liquid Facelift Goals
A liquid facelift performed at our Fort Myers, Naples and Bonita Springs office is designed to meet the individual goals of each patient. Taking into account the unique skin type and structural characteristics. The goals of the liquid facelifts done in our offices depend on each patient’s skin type and facial structure. In some patients, the goal is to lift the entire face, while in others, it is to lift or contour specific facial features.
For example, hollowing under the eyes can be treated by using liquid facelift techniques. Some include eyelids being lifted, jowls being diminished, the natural shape being restored to flattened cheeks or temple areas, and the corners of the mouth being lifted, to name a few benefits.

A Liquid Facelift was done on this woman by Britten Stine. The use of fillers and Botox helped put volume back into her cheek area, decrease hallowness under the eyes and smoothed out lines in the forehead, lines around the mouth and on the marrionette lines.

Who is a good candidate for a liquid facelift?
Since a liquid facelift is such a versatile treatment, many men and women can benefit from it. The procedure is a good option for those who are bothered by facial aging but who don’t yet see concerns significant enough to warrant a full facelift or other surgery. Others may be attracted to a liquid facelift because it’s a brief procedure that offers instant results. If you’re still unsure of your candidacy, Dr. Flaharty can give you a better idea of your options during your consultation.
How long A Liquid Facelift can take
We may reserve approximately one hour for the liquid facelift procedure. This allows us to review the intended goals of treatment and administer the selected injectable products.
What kind of results should I expect from my Liquid Facelift?
Results from liquid lift procedures are usually gradual and can range from subtle to astonishing. It is common for patients who have had liquid facelift procedures to say that they receive compliments on their appearance without others knowing that they have done anything. As with any cosmetic medical procedure, results vary from patient to patient.
Can Liquid Facelift be combined with other procedures?
Yes. You may combine your liquid facelift with several nonsurgical treatments to fully refresh your appearance. Common options include medical-grade facials and chemical peels, laser resurfacing, and light treatments to correct photodamage and pigmentation concerns.
Will I require multiple treatments?
Most of our patients do not require multiple treatments. Dr. Flaharty has a great deal of experience in facial rejuvenation and utilizes injection techniques that address concerns successfully. In some cases, patients may want to touch-up certain areas to increase volume or other effects.
Recovery After Liquid Facelift
One of the best things about a liquid facelift is that it doesn’t require any sort of recovery, and in most cases, patients can get back to their regular activities immediately. Depending on the types of injectables used in your liquid facelift, you may see results instantly. Results of BOTOX Cosmetic injections can take a few days to fully develop. Immediately after your procedure, you may experience swelling, bruising, redness, or tenderness, but these effects are minor and short-lived.
How long your Liquid Facelift Results will last
The longevity of your results depends on a few different factors, including:
- The products used
- Where on your face they were injected
- The severity of your symptoms
For example, lines in areas that don’t move much, such as the chin, may have longer-lasting results than lines around very mobile areas, such as the mouth. Injectables can last anywhere from 4 months to 2 years, and Dr. Flaharty will give you a more precise understanding of the results you’re likely to see.
Do Liquid Facelifts Hurt?
No, a liquid facelift does not hurt. Some of the dermal fillers that are used in this procedure have an anesthetic in them, which will decrease nerve responses to injections. Additionally, our patients have the option of adding ProNox to any treatment. ProNox is self-administered nitrous oxide, a mild sedative that acts quickly when inhaled. Nitrous oxide effects wear off within just a few minutes, so patients can safely drive themselves home should they choose to include this service in their treatment.
Does insurance cover liquid facelift?
Insurance does not cover the cost of a liquid facelift because this is an elective cosmetic procedure.
How much does a facelift cost?
The cost of a liquid facelift can vary. However, this approach to facial rejuvenation is typically significantly less than a surgical facelift. Factors that influence cost include the products that are used and the quantity of those products that are needed to achieve the desired outcome.
Ultimately, the best way to determine the cost of complete nonsurgical facial rejuvenation is to consult with a trusted plastic surgeon. We are here to help you rediscover your best self through personalized cosmetic treatments.
