The Sculptra Injection Process
Dr. Flaharty, of Azul Cosmetic Surgery and Medical Spa, performs Sculptra injections in our office. During your consultation, patients will first discuss a treatment plan to determine the number of injections needed for ideal results. Patients can go through multiple injection sessions which are typically spread apart by a few weeks. Your unique treatment plan will depend on your facial structure and goals.
During your treatment session, our staff will apply numbing cream so there is minimal discomfort. Then, Dr. Flaharty will inject Sculptra into the folds and lines of the desired treatment area. The contents of Sculptra are diluted in water before injections. This allows the body to absorb the water while the biocompatible material stimulates new collagen growth.
