Non-Ablative Fractional Laser

The non-ablative fractional laser (Fraxel) is an innovative technology that utilizes pulses of fractional light to treat a number of skin conditions.  This technology is state of the art, and has a larger handpiece compared to previous models for faster treatment and a “cool tip”  feature which improves patient comfort. This in-office procedure is fast, easy and requires no down time.  Best results are achieved with a series of treatments.

Wrinkles

While keeping the top layer of skin in place, high-precision microbeams are delivered by the laser to create narrow, deep columns of tissue coagulation in the underlying layers of skin, thus tightening the upper, visible layer, and reducing the appearance of wrinkles. This process restores  and builds collagen to plump the skin and produce a youthful look.

Stretch Marks

Pulses of fractional laser light is used to break down stretch marks, triggering new tissue production underneath and improving the coloring of the stretch mark. The new collagen stimulated below the stretch mark serves to reduce the appearance of the  stretch mark and smoothes the texture of the area.

Scars (Surgical and Acne)

Fractional pulses of laser light are used to break down scar tissue and help regenerate new, healthy tissue. The collagen generated under the scar reduces the appearance of the scar and makes it more even in texture.

Active Acne

Fractional laser pulses reduce active acne by killing bacteria that causes acne, thereby treating current acne and preventing future acne outbreaks.
